About us

Welcome!!

A smoking cup of tea , some laughs, three candles : one, two , three.. it´s LIBERTEA!

Libertea is the pleasure of a sweet cup of tea for a peaceful moment during the day.

For us, there are thousands ways to enjoy a tea: cold, hot, iced and with family, with friends or alone just relaxing but always enjoying it.

This is my story:

From childhood, I really enjoy drinking tea maybe due to my british origins. For me a good day always starts with a cup of hot tea, flavoured depending how I feel in the morning. It could be a blended tea sweet, fruity, energizing, strong, citric or an “original” japanese or chinese tea, a taiwanese oolong, or a black tea from Darjeeling or Assam. It depends of my mood.

In every situation, reading a book, meeting friends or family, working at the office,  the tea has always been important during the day. This is a real pleasant moment relaxing and friendly.

I also love traveling and thanks to my big curiosity I have learnt more and more from different countries.

For example in India visiting tea plantations in Tamil Nadu ( Nilgiris Hills) , in Kerala, or in the region of Assam. There I have tasted the indian Chai and learnt how to mix tea with spices.

In Arabic culture countries I discovered the drinking tea rites, as in Jordan the black tea is savored with sage leaf, in Egypt or in Maghreb countries where people are drinking green tea with mint.

During a trip to Kenya , I tasted a strong black tea with an intense floral aroma and the typical Massaï Chai.

In South Africa, I drank Rooibos with his own flavor and his special ruby color.

On one day, I decided to know better the beverage, to discover his nuances and to appreciate it only for more pleasure: I discovered little by little the camelia sinensis, his origins, his different tastes, his subtleties. I met the “Club del Té” (www.clubdelté.com),and get familiarized with the culture around tea until obtaining an international certification of tea sommelier and received a tea blender qualification from the expert Victoria Bisogno.

I was already planning something…and in November 2015 , LIBERTEA was created.

Now I select carefully my teas, I want to share this treasure and help people with my selection to discover new sweet, rich and surprising tastes and incredible senses for your major pleasure.

As a tea blender, my objective is to propose my own blends, as I have a  lot of ideas and I would really like to share and convey my passion .. but for the moment I select my teas and creates my own blends in secret..

In our online shop, you will find a large range of teas between white, green, black, Oolong or

Pu-Erh from which we are selling 22 blends and 5 original teas from different parts of the world. We also propose a range of high quality rooibos and infusions whose benefits and properties are really healthy.

Now you know everything about our passion , so we will end with this good quote of Ralph Waldo Emerson and let you enjoy Libertea´s moment.

“There is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea”
